Cruzan Rum Airport Bar

Concept: Create an 8,000 square foot branded environment for Cruzan Rum, in a new terminal at Ft. Lauderdale International Airport.

Execution: Reisigl's "Cruzan Islands" design highlights local South Florida boating communities. The nautical theme with vivid color and custom branded pieces includes hand-painted wall murals and full-size mast & sails, all conveying a relaxed state of mind. Reisigl project-managed the build to ensure that every aspect of their design was perfect, considering each detail down to the waitstaff uniform and menus.

Activation: Reisigl worked closely with the airport concessionaire to create a high-end branded venue that would introduce millions of travelers to Cruzan Rum - destination marketing at its best. This larger-than-life branded environment acts as a 3-dimensional ad that people walk through, touch and sense. Cruzan Rum sales grew exponentially during the bar's tenure.

Bacardi's partnership with Norwegian Cruise Lines provided the opportunity to create concepts for a custom Oakheart Rum Bar as a stand-alone venue on NCL's private island. This concept is destination marketing at its best - a captive audience in pure brand emersion!
