Soggy Dollar Menu
Concept: Soggy Dollar Bar, located on a remote little slice of heaven on the island Jost Van Dyke in the BVI, is only accessible by boat. Thus, the world famous "Painkiller" rum drinks are purchased with "soggy dollars". Bar owners wanted a durable (ie waterproof) bar menu that could also be sold as a souvenir in their gift shop.
Execution: Reisigl designed and printed a 10" x 10" lightweight PVC menu that won't wilt in the moist atmosphere, and will withstand a dip on the tipsy trip back to the boat!
Activation: Every year, stacks of the PVC menus are printed, cut & shipped to the remote Soggy Dollar Bar. Demand has made them now available online at soggydollar.com - or you can go get one in person if you prefer a more exciting purchasing experience...

Margaritaville Table Tents
Cruzan knew that Margaritaville, Key West absolutely, without a doubt, would not use table tents in their venues and its manager of 20+ years was adamant on the subject. That is, until we designed and presented this unique take on the tabletop menu. The tent is die-cut in the shape of a vintage refrigerator/freezer with a parrot perched on top. Six bullet holes are punched through the front of tent as if it had been shot. This wacky concept grew from Reisigl's research of Buffet lyrics. The song, "Boat Drinks" claims, "This mornin' I shot 6 holes in my freezer; I think I got cabin fever-Waitress I need 2 more BOAT DRINKS!" The manager liked it! He placed an order and before long the tents were being used in other Margaritavilles, from New Orleans to Las Vegas. However, they didn't remain on the tables for long. Patrons grabbed them for souvenirs - tucking them away in their bags like pirate booty. Of course, that was part of the plan, to help grow the Cruzan Rum brand. Patrons would take them home; show them to their friends, who would tell their friends, who would tell their friends. That's the way to grow a brand!
