Since founding Reisigl Associates Inc. in 1976, Jim Reisigl has been dedicated to innovative design. As designer and creative director with offices in New York and Raleigh, he led a full-service agency to create award-winning design and finished product for national brands such as IBM, Colgate, Western Union and GE - all during the exciting growth of advertising in New York's "mad men" era. Always challenging the rules of convention, he strives to engage the audience in every aspect of the final product. Jim's razor sharp eye for detail as well as an astute grasp of the big picture has resulted in a broad expertise - from package design and mobile marketing to venue concept and build management.
An early navy stint in Key West sparked his love of South Florida. Tiring of the cold winters and itching for a new challenge, he relocated to Jupiter, FL in 1992. The downsized agency flourished as Reisigl's largest client, Todhunter International, opened the door to the spirits & food industry - a niche that became quite comfortable. Under Jim's direction, the team helped to grow the Cruzan Rum brand, making it the fastest-growing rum in the world during that ten year period. The Cruzan campaign strategy led the agency to be touted in "The Top 50 Marketers '05 by Advertising Age". His experience with all aspects of the spirits sector, from packaging and bottling to marketing and in-store displays, has fueled the agency's growth in this area, becoming an industry leader. Jim's commitment to every project inspires his team to deliver above and beyond expectations.
Jim's passion for design, filtering into his life-long love of cars, has led him to spend less time at the drawing board and more time with concepts for his next car project. He enjoys time with his family in Florida, but as an avid skier, also manages to get slope time whenever possible.
Joining Reisigl Associates in 2004, James continues the legacy of passion for growing brands. With advertising and marketing as the backdrop of his life from day one, James inherently has great focus on the details as well as the big picture, bringing a rich foundation to the work. Initially as Marketing Manager, James added an impressive lineup of national clients to the Reisigl portfolio, including Beam Global, Bacardi, Imperial Brands and Crown Imports.
Now in the role of president, James' entrepreneurial sense drives the agency toward new opportunities across a broad range of industries. His relationships with a growing network of spirits industry leaders also solidifies Reisigl as a force in the sector. While overseeing such unique projects, James draws inspiration and insight from the team's solid core of experience. Always defining new marketing strategies, he is driven to succeed by even the smallest challenge.
James has helped multiple start-ups and existing brands to develop and execute growth strategies, product concepts and marketing programs. As a founding member of Papa's Pilar Rum, he is passionate about the brand and finds satisfaction in forging partnerships for other new brand launches.
James holds a BA in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. Having spent most of his life in South Florida, he maintains an active lifestyle outside of work, enjoying mountain biking, skiing, sporting clays and various charity events.
